PROMOTION

OUR SERVICES

Digital distribution

We provide music to all major Polish and global services on the basis of direct contracts signed with them. We thoroughly verify the content we receive from our clients, making sure that the quality of the sound, visuals and data is appropriate. We also make sure that the content is featured on the correct artists’ profile pages. We support giving credit to the talent behind the music, so wherever the features of the respective service allow it, we publish additional info along with the tracks, listing individual musicians, mastering engineers, and producers. We offer custom delivery times, such as uploading at a specific time. We provide our clients with smart URLs routing users to singles/albums on digital platforms.

promotion

We work with the editors of the individual services, we suggest songs for playlists, banners, and playlist covers. We help in choosing the optimum release date and method to use the services’ algorithms in the best possible way. We publicise our artists’ new releases on our social media pages, as well as on social media pages of the music services we work with. We run our own service with genre playlists. We actively support our clients in terms of ideas for activities in their own channels, we suggest how to use TikTok to create challenges, and how to use the features of Instagram and Facebook to promote original work. We publish a newsletter to inform our clients about new features of the platforms, worth using in day-to-day operation.

label service

Our attention to detail, supported by daily analytics, allows us to respond quickly and to support release decisions. We work with local and nationwide radio stations in Poland, web portals, press, television, and podcasters – we will be informing all of them about your release once you provide us with a professional press kit.
We support promising releases with sponsored posts using Google Ads, TikTok Ads. If you have your own budget for such campaigns, we will implement them for you without charging any margin

youtube

An artist/label YouTube channel is a very important distribution channel. The benefits of working with Agora Digital Music for you and your label include optimised monetisation, descriptions, and settings, ongoing conflict resolution, technical support, correct upload support, as well as access to Google’s regular training for the music industry. We offer support in obtaining the OAC (Official Artist Channel) status. By working together systematically and complying with Google’s guidelines, we will increase the number of channel subscriptions and video views. Our skills in this area are confirmed by the relevant Google certificates in the field of content management, analytics, monetisation, and channel development.

FAQ

FAQ

HOW CAN I START WORKING WITH AGORA DIGITAL MUSIC?
If you want to work with us, fill out and submit the online contact form provided on our web page. We’ll get back to you within several days after we receive the request. We work with individual artists as well as with music labels.
WHAT KIND OF CONTRACT DO I SIGN WITH AGORA DIGITAL MUSIC?

We work on the basis of a licence agreement. The contract is signed for an indefinite term, with a 6-month notice period. Our fees are based on a percentage breakdown of the revenue generated. We do not charge any additional fees – whether monthly, annual, or related to content compilation or adaptation. Licences can be granted to us by natural persons as well as by companies.

CAN I TRANSFER MY TRACKS FROM A DIFFERENT DISTRIBUTOR TO AGORA DIGITAL MUSIC WITHOUT LOSING MY SPOTIFY STATISTICS?
Of course. In this case, we need to receive the same content and provide it once again, and subsequently the former distributor needs to withdraw it. To keep your Spotify stats, we need to obtain the same ISRC and UPC codes that have already been assigned to the respective track/album.
WHAT HAPPENS TO MY CONTENT IF I DECIDE TO TERMINATE MY CONTRACT?
If you cease to work with us, your content will be removed from the services by 23:59:59 h on the day the notice period expires
DOES AGORA DIGITAL MUSIC AGREE TO WORK WITH ALL ARTISTS AND ALL LABELS?
We analyse each request individually – we do not work with everyone who approaches us. A carefully selected list allows us to provide high quality service that goes well beyond mere distribution of music to digital services. We do not judge or comment on the artistic qualities, but sound quality is an essential aspect, and other creative content such as videos or graphics also play an important part in our decision-making process. Our analyses concern, among other things, the planned number of uploads, social networking profiles and the number of fans, as well as their engagement. What matters to us is whether the artist understands and whether they are able and willing to use the available tools, such as TikTok, Instagram Music, or YouTube Shorts.
WILL MY YOUTUBE CHANNEL BE INTEGRATED INTO THE AGORA DIGITAL MUSIC NETWORK?
We analyse each application individually, and not all channels are integrated in this way. The aspects we analyse include the number of subscriptions, publication frequency, the presence of third-party claims, as well as the content itself and its subject matter. However, don’t worry if your channel is not tied into our network: we will continue to support you with auditing and optimisation tips. We will protect all content we receive from you within the Content ID copyright protection system, regardless of whether we integrate the channel into the network or not.
HOW DO I DELIVER MY CONTENT TO AGORA DIGITAL MUSIC?
We accept various methods of delivery: FTP, link to a disk, or via direct upload in the client’s panel, to which we provide a login and password.
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE DO I NEED TO PROVIDE THE CONTENT BEFORE THE RELEASE?

We recommend that the complete set of materials be delivered for distribution at least 3 weeks before the planned release date (the complete set of materials means the final master, the cover and the required metadata). If they are provided at a later date, this will restrict potential promotional activities and the possibility of using algorithms to support the release.
Such deadlines allow us to fully meet the requirements of all stores regarding the content delivery and updates.
As per the Spotify’s Service Level Guideline, inserts of new products must be fully delivered to Spotify at least 5 business days before earliest release date specified in the metadata, and updates and takedowns must be fully delivered to Spotify at least 2 business days before expected live date.

WHAT ARE THE TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE CONTENT TO BE PROVIDED?

Audio: lossless WAV file, at least 16bit, preferably 24bit/96kHz. Cover: 3000x3000px in .jpg or .png format. Video: .mov or .MP4. Video thumbnail: 1902x1080px in .jpg or .png. format.

WILL AGORA DIGITAL MUSIC GENERATE AN EAN CODE FOR MY PRODUCT?
The EAN code is a unique code for each single and album, the equivalent of a barcode. If you don’t have your own code, we will assign it to you automatically and at no extra charge.
WILL AGORA DIGITAL MUSIC GENERATE AN ISRC CODE FOR MY RECORDINGS?
The ISRC code is a unique code for each recording. Each version of a recording (e.g. radio edit, live recording, etc.) should have its own unique ISRC code. The ISRC is generally assigned by the first owner of the rights to the recording or the current owner of those rights, unless it was already assigned earlier. The basis for obtaining an ISRC code is an appropriate request submitted to ZPAV (Polish Society of the Phonographic Industry). The request should be submitted by the holder of the rights of producer of the phonogram as defined in Article 94(3) of the Act on Copyright and Related Rights, i.e., to put it simply, the owner of the rights to the recording (most often this is the label/recording company, sometimes directly the artist or the band). HOW DOES AGORA DIGITAL MUSIC REPORT SALES AND MAKE PAYMENTS?
We share monthly sales reports. The reports include all the relevant data: unit rates, services, distribution countries, sales models, number of streams/downloads, titles, and artists. We make our first report available approximately 2 months after the first recording is introduced for distribution: this is due to the way we receive reports. In the case of licences from a company, we pay within 30 days of receipt of a correctly issued invoice for the amount in the report. In the case of licences from natural persons, we pay always on the 15th day of the month, with the minimum payment amount being PLN 200.
WILL WORKING WITH AGORA DIGITAL MUSIC ALLOW MY TRACKS TO BE INCLUDED IN PLAYLISTS OFFERED BY STREAMING SERVICES?
Although we pitch songs for playlists and we’re in constant contact with editors, we cannot guarantee presence on the playlists. This is influenced by many variables and is not a guaranteed promotional benefit.
WHAT PROMOTIONAL SUPPORT DOES AGORA DIGITAL MUSIC OFFER? IS PROMOTION IN AGORA S.A. GROUP MEDIA GUARANTEED WHEN I SIGN A CONTRACT WITH AGORA DIGITAL MUSIC?

If we are provided with the right content (press info, photos) duly in advance, we recommend tracks for playlists, send newsletters to media outlets, and send tracks to radio stations. We co-create campaigns on TikTok, we support selected projects through campaigns in Google Ads, Insta Ads, and Facebook Ads.
We look after the artists’ profiles and provide communication tips. Agora’s media (press, online, outdoor, and radio) operate independently of us, and no promotional activities using these media are guaranteed.

WHAT IS ‘’ARTIFICIAL STREAMING’’ AND WHAT ARE ITS CONSEQUENCES?

“Artificial streaming” refers to any artificially generated traffic on your content (through digital bots, scripts, “click farms,” paid placement on playlists, etc.). These fake streams do not reflect genuine user listening intentions, they are manipulative, and represent poor promotional practices that we do not support, recommend or endorse. The procedure of artificially inflating streams has significant consequences and can severely damage your content, profile, and hard work. Streaming services are constantly working on identifying streaming fraud and implementing mechanisms to prevent it.

Spotify places great emphasis on preventing fraud and unfair practices. If such activities are detected on this platform, artificially generated streams will be reversed, no royalties will be paid for them, and there is also the risk of the entire catalog being removed from Spotify. Furthermore, as a distributor, we will be charged for such manipulations on tracks where such blatant artificial traffic is detected.

Spotify’s Policy Document

Spotify’s policy aims to limit and eliminate dishonest players from the market. Agora Digital Music also wants to support honest artists. Every case of detected artificial traffic that we are informed about will be immediately reported and thoroughly analyzed.

REMEMBER!

  • Do not pay for a service that offers more streams.
  • Do not pay for a service that offers more followers.
  • Do not pay for a service that guarantees placement on unofficial playlists.

Using such services will drive fake streams for your recordings, you will not gain real traffic or listeners; your profile will come under Spotify’s scrutiny, you will not receive payment for it, your catalog may be removed, and there may be financial penalties for such practices.

We guarantee that the above-mentioned penalties will not affect honest artists who have nothing to do with this practice.

Please contact us whenever you notice suspicious traffic on your content on Spotify that is not caused by your activities – we will thoroughly check everything, and if we detect controversial sources of streams, we will inform the appropriate department to report such a situation.
